HOW TO GET TO ISCHIA

BY AIR

From Capodichino Airport you must reach the “Molo Beverello” wharf to cross over to the island; the cheapest way to do this is to take the Alibus shuttle that connects the airport directly with the Beverello wharf; tickets are sold on board. If you take a taxi you should ask the driver to apply the predetermined fare.

BY CAR

To reach the Island of Ischia with your car you should embark at one of the two harbours of Naples or Pozzuoli. To reach Pozzuoli by motorway, after the Naples toll gate proceed for approximately 12 Km then take the bypass road (“Tangenziale”) towards Pozzuoli, exit at the Via Campana toll gate, follow the signs to the port. To reach the port of Naples — Molo Calata di Massa — after the toll gate follow the signs for “Napoli zona portuale” and then for “Molo Calata di Massa”.

BY TRAIN

Napoli Centrale railway station is 3 km from the port of Naples. The tram or bus are the cheapest way to get there. From the station to the port you can board the no. 1 tram, the 152 bus, or the R2 bus (the latter stops in Piazza Municipio, about 100 metres from the port). By taxi: there is a taxi stand just outside the station
